Imagine Play Inspire offers creative experiences for children and adults, built around open-ended making, small group sizes, and process over product. Every session is designed to feel unhurried and inclusive, a space where curiosity leads, and creativity belongs to everyone, regardless of experience, ability, or how long it’s been.

Private Classes
5-12 yrs
Sometimes a child just needs a little more space, and a little more time. Private sessions are available as one-on-one or one-on-two, held at mine in Ōakura or in your home (for families local to the area). We move at whatever pace feels right, following curiosity, and letting the making lead the way. With the hands-on support of an experienced, registered teacher, each session gently weaves together creative confidence, emotional regulation, and problem-solving, in a calm and unhurried space where there’s no agenda, no right answers, and plenty of room to tinker and figure things out. After-School
5-8 yrs & 8-12 yrs
These after-school art classes encourage children to think outside the box and explore their own ideas without the pressure of creating a perfect final piece. Expect open-ended making in a calm, intentional space where ideas are welcome and mess is too. Each session is a little different, shaped by the materials, the moment, and the children themselves. School Holidays
5-12 yrs
School holidays don’t have to be busy to be good. Sometimes the best thing we can do is slow down, get outside, make a mess, and see where the morning takes us. That’s the spirit behind Creative Calm, a small and unhurried holiday experience held here in Ōakura, for just two children at a time. Art, nature, child-led making, and plenty of space to follow curiosity, over three relaxed mornings from 9am to 12pm. Great for friends or siblings, and suited to ages 7–11. Two sessions to choose from: April 7–9 (one spot remaining) or April 13–15 (two spots available). $300 per child, all materials included. To book, just send us a message, and we’ll confirm your spot. Places are first-come, first-served, with full payment at the time of registration.
Art Play Parties

Celebrating a birthday? Let us help you make your child’s special day extra special, creating memories that last through art and play. All parties are catered to the age & interests of your child and can be held at your house or at the Ōakura Hall – either way we’ll take care of prep & tidy up.
